Burma: Life

This set of photos captured the daily life of people in the Delta of Irrawaddy, Myanmar (Burma).

Delta of Irrawaddy is laced by tributaries and boats of all sizes are the most important mode of transportation. Most of the Delta population are farmers and fishermen. They live nearby their paddy fields, by the river and creeks. Apart from paddy fields, they also rear small numbers of cattle such as cows to plough the field and others as alternative means of livelihoods, such as pig, chicken and ducks.
